Empowering Women, Children and Socially Excluded for Social Change
Gender Perspective and Social Development Centre (GPSDC) is a non-governmental organization focused on gender equality in participatory governance, women’s rights,
environmental and water justice, and other emerging issues delivered through research, advocacy, mobilisation, capacity building and policy dialogue.
GPSDC has no affiliations with any political party. It has significant expertise on elections and gender-based violence approaches, gender programming, civic engagement in elections, and power analysis.
It is grassroots, women-led non-governmental organization based in Anambra State, South- East Nigeria but reaches out to other States to implement projects on a consultancy basis.
The organisation was established and registered with the Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs and Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2015 with registration number: CAC/IT/NO 79837.
GPSDC has a robust management and delivery structure, with core staff to drive programme delivery across the country.
